Individual Counselling
Individual counselling offered can be one to one, family or couples counselling. Individual counselling focuses on your unique goals. The sessions are 60 minutes long and the fee is $100.00. A sliding fee is offered as well as some insurance companies cover the cost of CCC’s. My area of specialty includes grief, depression, anxiety and trauma. I work with all ages and utilize a wide variety of tools including pets (a pot bellied pig) during the therapeutic process. Benefits of individual therapy include; having a safe place to discuss life transitions, learning to set boundaries, building self esteem and learning new coping tools to build your resiliency.
Group Counselling
I am a trained facilitator of the COMPASS for caregivers program offered by the Alberta Caregivers Association. I have offered group counselling in regards to life skills, addictions, grief and caregivers support. The benefits of group counselling include; not feeling alone, lessen isolation and learning from others. I can create group counselling to meet your specific needs. The cost is negotiable.
Workshops
I have presented on a variety of topics including; How Pets Support Wellness (Alberta Caregivers Association), Mental Health Wellness in the Workplace (Canadian Home Builders Association) and the Benefits of Comfort Boxes (Military Family Resource Centre). I can create presentations specific to your organizations needs. The benefits of a workshop are that you are able to share information with more people leading to an opening of dialogue on the workshop subject. Costs are negotiable.
