Individual counselling offered can be one to one, family or couples counselling. Individual counselling focuses on your unique goals. The sessions are 60 minutes long and the fee is $150.00. A sliding fee is offered as well as some insurance companies cover the cost of CCC’s. My area of specialty includes grief, depression, anxiety and trauma. I work with all ages and utilize a wide variety of tools including pets (a pot bellied pig) during the therapeutic process. Benefits of individual therapy include; having a safe place to discuss life transitions, learning to set boundaries, building self esteem and learning new coping tools to build your resiliency.

Group Counselling

I am a trained facilitator of the COMPASS for caregivers program offered by the Alberta Caregivers Association. I have offered group counselling in regards to life skills, addictions, grief and caregivers support. The benefits of group counselling include; not feeling alone, lessen isolation and learning from others. I can create group counselling to meet your specific needs. The cost is negotiable.

Workshops

I have presented on a variety of topics including; How Pets Support Wellness (Alberta Caregivers Association), Mental Health Wellness in the Workplace (Canadian Home Builders Association) and the Benefits of Comfort Boxes (Military Family Resource Centre). I can create presentations specific to your organizations needs. The benefits of a workshop are that you are able to share information with more people leading to an opening of dialogue on the workshop subject. Costs are negotiable.
